The EU-ASEAN Business Council held an informative webinar, Data Governance in ASEAN’s Digital Age yesterday, which looked into data governance, an area of growing importance, more so now, in light of COVID-19, where consumers and organisations take to digital tools.
The well-attended webinar saw industry experts and leading government officials from Singapore and Europe discuss on the subject and covered how ASEAN can harmonise cross border data flows and lessons which can be taken from Europe’s GDPR.
