The EU-ABC’s 11th ASEAN-EU Business Summit 2025 convened over 200 senior leaders from government, industry, and international organisations for a day of high-level discussions on strengthening economic ties between the European Union and ASEAN.
The Summit featured eight Ministers, including European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič, Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Transition and Water Transformation YAB Dato’ Sri Fadillah Yusof, and ASEAN Secretary-General HE Dr Kao Kim Hourn, alongside other distinguished policymakers from across the region. Panel discussions explored key areas shaping the future of the region’s growth — the energy transition, food and nutrition security, and the digital economy — highlighting opportunities for deeper EU-ASEAN collaboration. The day concluded with a Ministerial dialogue reaffirming shared commitments to sustainable, inclusive, and innovative growth.
The EU-ABC extends its appreciation to its Sponsors — HSBC, Tetra Pak, Prudential, Siemens Energy, Evonik, The Coca-Cola Company, FrieslandCampina, Danone, and Pernod Ricard — for their continued partnership and support.
